Dr. Pamela Lang, Medical Director at Shriners Children’s Twin Cities joined us today to talk about their sports medicine programs.  Dr. Lang talked about how important it is for kids to see pediatric orthopedic sports medicine specialists to get the specialized care they need.

Shriners Children’s Twin Cities, located in Woodbury, MN, provides orthopedic care for children whose conditions may include: complex conditions such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, scoliosis, limb difference, arthritis and muscular dystrophy; rare disorders such as osteogenesis imperfecta, dwarfism and arthrogryposis. Care is available for injuries, whether they are the result of a sporting activity or general play. Rehabilitation (occupational and physical therapy), orthotics and prosthetics, x-ray, social work and child life are all available in-house.
