GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - When KARE 11's Randy Shaver was diagnosed with cancer twenty years ago he received thousands of emails and letters. And he kept them all. They were an inspiration to him as he battled Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Twenty years ago he was a successful sports anchor for KARE 11, a husband with two young kids and the world seemingly at his feet. He was only 39-years-old and shared his battle while he was an anchor on KARE 11.
