2020 welcomes two new Minnesota millionaires

One person in Burnsville and one in Brooklyn Center are winners in the Minnesota Millionaire Raffle.

ROSEVILLE, Minn — Two Minnesotans are starting off the new year with a little more money in their pockets. 

A ticket sold at Cub Foods on County Road 10 in Brooklyn Center and a ticket sold at a Shell station on Nicollet Court in Burnsville were both winners of a $1 million dollar prize. 

The winning numbers are: 

  • 130851
  • 285337

Both businesses will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling winning tickets. 

More than 12,000 players won prizes in the Jan. 1 drawing, including 5 $100,000 winners. 

These two lucky winners are the 4th and 5th million dollar winners in the state in the last three weeks. A person in Hermantown won a $1.6 million dollar prize playing Gopher 5 on December 16, a $1 million dollar Powerball winner was drawn in Mankato on December 18 and a $1 million dollar Powerball winner was drawn in Big Lake on December 21.

None of these prizes have been claimed. Players have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
