Big demand for residential construction workers in the Twin Cities. Upcoming Job Fair on Thursday, February 19 at Mall Of America.

MINNEAPOLIS-- There is a growing demand for residential construction workers in the greater Twin Cities Area. To help find people to help fill those positions, The Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) is holding its third annual construction job fair to help fill more than 200 job openings from 20 companies. The BATC Job & Career Fair will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from noon to 4 pm at the Mall of America Rotunda, 60 East Broadway, Bloomington, MN.

Types of job openings include trades (carpenters, painters, drywallers, plumbers, HVAC technicians), sales managers and representatives, customer service, warehouse, drivers, administrative and much more.

Businesses participating in the BATC job fair include All Sons' Exteriors, Inc.; AMEK Custom Builders, Inc.; American Workshop Career Education; Brush Masters Inc.; Dakota County Lumber Company; GreenGuard Construction, Inc.; Idc-automatic " The Garage Door Place"; Iron River Construction; JL Schwieters Building Supply Construction, Inc. & Schwieters Companies; JNS Builders, LLC; Lampert Lumber; Lyman Companies; Pella Windows & Doors; Plekkenpol Builders, Inc.; Practical Systems Heating and Cooling; Scherer Bros. Lumber Co.; Shaw/Stewart Lumber Co.; SOLID-EMPLOYEES, LLC; Synergy Products, LLC. and Tradesmen International.

There is no fee to attend with no appointments necessary. Job seekers are encouraged to bring their resumes and references. Attendees can also discuss career paths and future opportunities with the participating companies.
