SANDWICH GENERATION: AARP Minnesota supports family caregivers

November is "National Family Caregivers Month"!

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota — Today there are more than 40 million family caregivers in the United States, including more than 640,000 in Minnesota. Caring for a parent, spouse, or other loved one can be a 24/7 job that is emotionally, physically and financially difficult. That’s why AARP works tirelessly to support family caregivers, striving to make their big responsibilities a little bit easier.

November is National Family Caregivers Month and AARP wants family caregivers to know they offer a number of resources designed to help them in their journey. Additionally, AARP is committed to supporting family caregivers and has been behind the passage of more than 200 state laws that support family caregivers nation-wide.
