Abuse knows no age limits. Children can suffer both physical and emotional abuse at the hands of those who are supposed to care for them, but so do the elderly.

On Tuesday in The Sandwich Generation, Jean Peters of Elder Voice Family Advocates and Erin Parrish from AARP visited KARE 11 News at 11 to talk about the problem and signs that a senior you love and care about is being abused.

If you suspect abuse of an older adult call the Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center (MAARC) at 1-844-880-1574 . You can also share your information with AARP at 1-866-554-5381.
