Sandwich Generation: Twin Cities Film Festival is great for seniors

Now in its tenth year, Twin Cities Film Fest is designed to be a gateway to independent cinema, a spotlight on local filmmakers.

Twin Cities Film Fest is a showcase of independent cinema with Minnesota and Midwest connections, which runs October 16-26 at the Showplace ICON theatre in St. Louis Park’s West End.

Now in its tenth year, Twin Cities Film Fest is designed to be a gateway to independent cinema, a spotlight on local filmmakers, and even a catalyst to change the world with socially responsible programming that inspires audiences to take action.

AARP is sponsoring Twin Cities Film Fest and from October 17-26 AARP members can receive a $5 discount on individual show tickets on select films (matinee movies prior to 5 p.m). You can browse films and learn more at the film fest website.
