GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Odds are that a recipe is pretty doggone good if it is handed down from generation to generation.
KARE 11's Laura Betker says that is definitely the case with her Grandma Helen's no-cook Orange-Cranberry Relish. Both sweet and tart, it is the perfect condiment to go on your Thanksgiving table.
Here's how you make it.
Ingredients
1 lb fresh cranberries
Rind of one orange
Juice of one orange
½ apple-peel optional
¾ cup sugar
Directions
Squeeze juice from orange and save.
Use just the juice and orange peel
Grind berries, orange rind and apple, add sugar and orange juice
Adjust sugar for sweetness
