MAPLE GROVE, Minn. — Tired of bringing meatballs and bars to the holiday potluck? A local shop has come up with a few throw-together recipes that will quickly become your new favorites to bring to the party.
Terri Chaffer, owner of Love That Olive, joined KARE 11 Saturday to share some ideas.
RECIPE: Bacon Kielbasa Slices
Ingredients:
- 1 pound fully cooked kielbasa or Polish sausage, cut into ¼-inch slices
- ½ jar Love That Olive (LTO) Hot Pepper Bacon Jam
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ to ¾ bottle Smoky Bacon Barbecue Sauce
Directions:
- In a skillet, cook and stir sausage until browned. Remove from pan, discard drippings.
- Add remaining ingredients to skillet; cook and stir over low heat until heated through 2-3 minutes. Stir in sausage; heat through. Also can be prepared in a crock pot or slow cooker.
