BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The Mall of America is launching a brand new, $20 million high-flying attraction.
"FlyOver America" is billed as the ultimate flying ride offering spectacular views of some of the USA's most breathtaking scenery from coast to coast.
Riders are suspended in the air with feet dangling 10 to 40 feet above ground and immersed in a giant half spherical domed screen. The birds eye views stretch from Alaska to Hawaii to Maine. Special effects including wind, mist and scents add to the immersive nature of the experience.
FlyOver America is located in the southwest corner of MOA, next to Nickelodeon Universe near Macy's.
Riders must be at least 40" tall. Tickets are $16.95 for adults and $12.95 for 12 years and under.
