Paisley Park hits social media

As Paisley Park prepares to open for public tours, fans of Prince can now follow the purple palace on social media.
On Tuesday evening, authorities were seen at Prince's Paisley Park complex in Chanhassen.

CHANHASSEN, Minn. - As Paisley Park prepares to open for public tours, fans of Prince can now follow the purple palace on social media.

Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts have been launched, "enabling fans to honor and celebrate Prince by sharing their memories, photos and videos," as stated in a press release from Bremer Trust, the special administrator for the Prince estate.

Fans will also be able to post and share original Prince artwork on a dedicated page called, "The Fence."

Paisley Park opens for tours starting Thursday with a temporary permit for tours on October 6, 8 and 14.

While tickets for the initial three days are sold out, Paisley Park says it continues to work closely with the Chanhassen City Council on traffic and zoning concerns and will be releasing more information about its progress on the newly-created social media accounts.
