'World's Toughest Rodeo' rides into the Xcel Energy Center

The toughest cowboy in St. Paul will get the chance to compete at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

ST PAUL, Minn. — Time to trade in your snow boots for cowboy ones. 

The Xcel Energy Center is where you'll find the "Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo" Friday and Saturday nights.

Shows will feature bareback riding and bull riding. Two Minnesotans, Miranda Clemens of Forest Lake and Bailey Webb-Olson of Hugo, will be competing in barrel racing on Friday night.

Shows will also feature Whiplash The Cowboy Monkey, Professional Rodeo Comedy Act of the Year John Harrison, and trick and Roman rider Dustin Dickerson.

The show is part of a tour where the toughest cowboy in St. Paul will get the chance to compete at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas for the World Champion title.

Shows begin each night at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $20 to $84. Tickets for kids 12 years old and under are $11.50.
