ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - Land O’Lakes, Inc. is expanding its Arden Hills headquarters.
Company officials, employees and local partners broke ground Thursday on a new building that will bring together headquarters employees who currently work in separate locations.
“As Land O’Lakes, Inc. continues its journey of growth, we’re investing in the workspace to support innovation and a high-performance, team environment,” said Chris Policinski, president and CEO of Land O’Lakes, Inc. “We believe this investment will enable the next chapter of growth for our organization in one of the greatest growth industries of our time, food and agriculture."
The new 155,000 square-foot facility will include on-site childcare and a fitness facility and is slated for completion in early 2018. Existing facilities will also be renovated.
The company says the effort would not have been possible without city, county and state partnerships.
Land O'Lakes is one of the nation's largest agribusiness and food companies with 2015 annual sales of $13 billion.
