ST PAUL, Minn. — if you have thoughts on what should be done with the old Ford site in St. Paul, now's your chance.
For the next 30 days the public is invited to comment, in writing, on the proposed development.
It's part of what's called an Alternative Urban Areawide Review, and it's required by the State of Minnesota.
Two development scenarios have been proposed at this point:
- The Ryan Companies Development Scenario includes 3,800 residential units, 150,000 square feet of retail and service, 265,000 square feet of office and employment, and 50,000 square feet of civic and institutional.
- The Ford Site Master Plan Maximum Development Scenario includes 4,000 residential units, 300,000 square feet of retail and service, 450,000 square feet of office and employment, and 150,000 square feet of civic and institutional.
The 30-day comment period starts on June 10 and ends July 10 at 4 p.m.
