EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - One person is dead and three are being treated for injuries following a crossover crash on Interstate 94 near Eau Claire Tuesday morning.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says it appears a vehicle traveling eastbound on I-94 crossed over the median at mile post 66 shortly before 8 a.m. and struck two westbound vehicles head-on. The fatality was declared dead at the scene, while three people were rushed to a hospital in Eau Claire via ambulance.
Additional details will be released as they become available. The crash remains under investigation by the WI State Patrol.
