MINNEAPOLIS - Hundreds of local patient families, cancer survivors, their friends and families, elite stair climbers, and firefighters in full gear will unite at Big Climb MPLS to raise money and awareness for blood cancers.
WHAT: Big Climb MPLS is the tallest, indoor, chip-timed, vertical challenge in the Midwest. Individuals and teams climb 53 or 105 floors of Capella Tower in Minneapolis. All proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Minnesota Chapter. At the finish climbers are offered an Ike’s Bloody Mary Bar with Jack Link’s jerky, a dance party, massage therapists and photo ops from the offices of Morgan Stanley and WeWork.
WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018. Check-in opens at 7:30 a.m. Climb starts at 8 a.m.
WHERE: Capella Tower, 225 South Sixth Street, Minneapolis.
To participate, register online. Registration fee is $40 per person plus a $75 fundraising minimum. Participants receive a Big Climb MPLS T-shirt, timing chip, snacks, refreshments and photo opportunities from the top of Capella Tower.
