TWO HARBORS, Minn. - Authorities in northern Minnesota say the body that washed up over the weekend on a Lake Superior beach is a Minnetonka man.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office says 45-year-old Derek Sigurd Hansen was found shortly after 7 a.m. Saturday near Split Rock Lighthouse just outside of Two Harbors. The initial investigation suggests that Hansen drowned but circumstances involving his death are still under investigation.
An autopsy will be conducted.
