LOS ANGELES - Former Twins All-Star second baseman Brian Dozier is now in the middle of a pennant race with the Dodgers, so there's a lot to do, and a lot on his mind.
That doesn't mean he doesn't love you, Minnesota.

Dozier took a few moments Thursday to post a tribute to his long-time fans on Instagram. After nine seasons with the Twins, seven of them with the big club, the Mississippi native was traded to Los Angeles on August 1, just hours before the MLB deadline. He joined a team in the thick of the NL western division pennant race, and has 7 hits in 21 at-bats, including a pair of home runs.
His impact will live on in Minnesota through positivity and significant community involvement.
