Brooklyn Park home destroyed in overnight fire

No one was injured but the house appears to be a total loss, according to the chief.

A fire destroyed a house in Brooklyn Park early Sunday morning.

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. - A Brooklyn Park home was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning.

According to the fire battalion chief, crews were called to a house fire on 77th Avenue North near Shingle Creek Park at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

Three adults were out of the home already when firefighters arrived. No one was injured but the house appears to be a total loss, according to the chief.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Crews from three fire departments responded.
