PLYMOUTH, Minn. — The body found in a burning car last weekend in Plymouth has been identified.
Authorities responded to reports of a car that burst into flames after crashing into a building Sunday night in Plymouth.
The incident occurred near I-494 and County Road 6. Plymouth Police said at that time that a body was found in the vehicle.
On Tuesday, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as 45-year-old Matthew Gordon Hunt, of Plymouth.
The Plymouth Police Department and the State Fire Marshal are still investigating the death.
