MINNEAPOLIS - Two criminals on the Hennepin County Sheriff's Most Wanted list have now been captured and arrested, according to authorities.
Mark Papasodora, 26, and Peter Tester, 55, were recently arrested, the sheriff's office announced Monday.
Papasodora pleaded guilty on April 28 to assault, after officers were called to a home where he had beaten his victim with a closed fist, kicked them in the face and body and choked them until they were unconscious. The victim suffered black eyes, a cut lip, a chipped tooth and a fractured rib.
After his sentencing, authorities say he failed to maintain contact with his probation officer and stopped showing up for treatment, which was part of his sentence.
Tester has a long list of charges, including theft of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, violating a restraining order and driving without a valid license. Most recently, Tester was wanted for first-degree burglary with a firearm for an incident on Sept. 16, 2013. Police say prescription medication and two handguns were reported missing in that case. A warrant had been issued for his arrest.
Both men are currently in custody.
