BARRON, Wis. — An 18-year-old man is jailed pending charges after two men were stabbed Halloween night in a park in Barron, Wis.
Barron Police officers were dispatched shortly after 5:30 p.m. to Anderson Park on reports of a stabbing. Officers from both Barron and nearby Cameron and Barron County Sheriff's deputies arrived to find two men who had suffered stab wounds. Both were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Information gathered at the scene led to the arrest of an 18-year-old man from Cumberland, Wis., who was promptly arrested and booked in the Barron County Jail.
Anderson Park was cordoned off for several hours while the scene was processed by law enforcement.
At this point there is no word of a motive in the attacks.
