WILLMAR, Minn. — Four people are facing criminal charges after a significant drug bust in west central Minnesota Saturday.
The CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force said agents - along with Willmar police and SWAT - executed a search warrant on a home in Willmar just after 8:30 a.m. Inside that home, they found and confiscated a "large" amount of methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms and LSD, along with a handgun, cash from drug sales and a vehicle agents say was used to traffic controlled substances across west central Minnesota.
In a press release, Drug Task Force Commander Ross Ardoff said four people inside the home at the time of the raid were arrested on various charges. One of them had just been released from jail after posting bail on charges of leading police on a motorcycle pursuit on Aug. 29.
The case will be presented to the Kandiyohi County Attorney's office for a decision on charges.
