MAPLEWOOD, Minn. - Maplewood police are trying to catch up with a female bank robber who may also be responsible for a heist in another community.
Officers were called to the Cub Foods on County Road B around 3 p.m. April 2 on reports of a bank robbery inside the TCF branch located in the store. A teller says a young female presented a note demanding money, claiming to have a gun. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash the robber fled the store.
Witnesses describe the robber as a white female between the ages of 20 and 25, with dark hair that may have highlights. She was wearing a gray hoodie and dark leggings.
Based on the description investigators believe the same suspect may be responsible for robbing a bank in Minneapolis March 23.
