LITTLE FALLS, Minn. — A Little Falls man was arrested Sunday in connection with the death of his wife.
According to a press release from the Little Falls Police Department, the 30-year-old man reported his wife missing on Saturday. The body of the allegedly-missing woman was found Sunday around 12:45 p.m. just south of Little Falls, "deceased under suspicious circumstances," police said.
Forensic specialists at the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause and manner of death.
The man was taken into custody shortly after the woman's body was found, and remains jailed on probable cause second-degree murder. Little Falls police say charges in the case are expected to be filed later this week.
