MINNEAPOLIS -- A man is dead following a shooting overnight.
Just after 2 a.m., Minneapolis Police responded to the 2100 block of N. 4th Street on a report of shots fired.
Officers arrived to find an adult male with gunshot wounds. CPR was performed and aid was given until an ambulance arrived. The victim was taken to North Memorial Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities are investigating. No one is in custody at this time.
The Medical Examiner will release the identity of the victim as well as the nature and cause of death.
