MINNEAPOLIS — Police are investigating a deadly shooting Thursday night that occurred in the Ventura Village neighborhood in south Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, the shooting happened around 9 p.m. near 22nd Ave and 13th Ave. South.
The victim, a 23-year-old man, transported himself to a local hospital, where he later died. He was later identified as Trevante Byrd of Minneapolis.
