BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. — One person was killed after a shooting Wednesday morning in Brooklyn Center.
According to Brooklyn Center Police, officers responded to the Speedway gas station near 69th Avenue and Brooklyn Boulevard at 11:18 a.m. When they arrived, they found an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers and paramedics immediately began life-saving aid, but the man succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
Currently, no one is in custody. Police say they are actively investigating and following leads, and do not believe the shooting was a random act.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
