ST. PAUL, Minn. - A Halloween partier gets an A for creativity, but his overall grade will likely be a D... as in DWI.
The Minnesota State Patrol posted on its Facebook page about how a trooper in the east metro stopped a vehicle going 95 mph in a 55 mph zone on Halloween night. After administering several tests, the trooper informed the male driver he was under arrest for DWI.
At that point the suspect immediately went into a seizure-like activity and fell to the ground. The trooper called for an ambulance, and paramedics took the man to the hospital. Once there the man reportedly told personnel that he thought he might be able to get out of his DWI by faking a seizure.
No dice. The State Patrol says the suspect will be charged with third-degree DWI.
