MINNEAPOLIS -- Authorities are investigating a shooting in Minneapolis that left one person dead early Sunday.
Police were called to W. Lake Street near Pillsbury Avenue around 2 a.m. on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found a man deceased.
According to Minneapolis Police Public Information Officer John Elder, two groups had a dispute and one person began shooting. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arrival.
The victim has been identified as Abdiaziz Salah Farah, 27, of Brooklyn Park.
