EDINA, Minn. - A $3,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of three men believed responsible for a drug store armed robbery in Edina.
Edina Police say the suspects entered the Walgreens on the 6900 block of York Avenue South shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday. One of the men was armed with two handguns. A clerk said the men used zip ties to bind employees in the pharmacy area before the three suspects robbed the store and escaped.
The descriptions of the suspects, whose images were captured on surveillance video, are as follows.
- Suspect 1: Black male, possibly early to mid 20s in age, goatee, approximately 6 feet tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants.
- Suspect 2: Black male, possibly early to mid 20s in age, approximately 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and had gold grills over his teeth.
- Suspect 3: Black male, possibly early to mid 20s in age, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue zip-up hooded sweatshirt with a black hat underneath his hood, black pants and also had gold grills over his teeth.
