ST PAUL, Minn. — Police in St. Paul are investigating the homicide of a 24-year-old, who has died a week and a half after being shot just a block away from the Minnesota State Capitol grounds.
The shooting happened around 5 p.m. on Nov. 5, officials said, in the area of Rice Street and University Avenue West.
According to the St. Paul Police Department, the victim, identified as Dejuan Hemphill, was found with a gunshot wound to his head. He was taken to Regions Hospital where officials say he died on November 15.
