WOODBURY, Minn. — Two juveniles have been arrested for their connection to a shooting and vehicle crash in Woodbury that left a teen injured and a garage damaged.
Woodbury Police announced the arrests Thursday, more than a week after the shooting occurred.
Officials said that emergency dispatchers got a call just before 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, reporting that a "car crashed through a garage" and "someone got shot."
When officers arrived at the address, they found a juvenile had been shot and had what they described as "non-life threatening" injuries. Another juvenile was there but was not injured.
Officers determined that the suspects had run away before police arrived.
Washington County sent out an emergency order at that point, asking the public to shelter in place.
The suspects and victim know each other, police said, and officers said a disagreement led to the shooting and crash.
