Free "Welcome Aboard" cocktails, hot towel service and more options for food are what you could see on a Delta Air Lines international flight starting in November.

These are a few ways the airline is trying to differentiate its Main Cabin experience from other airlines.

"This is about investing in every single customer who chooses Delta, no matter where they sit on the plane," said Allison Ausband, Delta's Senior Vice President. — In-Flight Service. "The thoughtful touches we're investing in throughout the new Main Cabin experience were designed by flight attendants with one goal in mind — delivering an exceptional experience that our customers will rave about and one that our team, the best in the business, is proud to deliver."

Delta says it's making the changes after feedback during nearly 14,000 hours of flight time, more than 1,800 customer surveys and reviews from flight attendants.

In recent years, Delta has made investments in its Main Cabin in general, including free meals on select domestic flights, adding more seat-back entertainment screens, and its working toward offering free Wi-Fi.
