Denny Hecker will be released from prison a year early, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Hecker, the former auto dealer who is serving a 10-year sentence for fraud, will now be released on July 4, 2018, instead of his original date July 4, 2019.
Prison officials would not release the reason why saying, "The reason for an inmate's sentence reduction is not always public information, such as in this case."
Hecker has been moved several times since he was convicted in October of 2010 -- from Duluth to Wisconsin to Indiana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Colorado and finally, Illinois.
He was married over the phone to his former mistress, Christi Rowan, who served 12 months in prison for her role in helping Hecker to hide money related to his fraud charges.
