GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Lac qui Parle Valley schools have canceled classes at the high school and elementary school for Thursday, Feb. 27 and Friday, Feb. 28, for reasons that are yet unclear.
Friday will be a virtual day for all students.
In the social post, the district wrote that school administrators and the Lac qui Parle County Sheriff's office "are working to resolve an issue which has come up."
No further details were made available.
The district asks that residents not call school officials to ask for more information, and that more information will be released "in the near future."
