MINNESOTA, USA — The next American Idol could be a Minnesotan.
According to a release, the talent show will accept virtual auditions with people in Minnesota on Friday, Sept. 6.
All Idol hopefuls will sign up to audition in front of an American Idol producer and receive real-time feedback.
2024 will mark the fifth consecutive year the show uses the "Idol Across America" method, allowing it a live virtual nationwide search.
According to the release, Mackenzie Sol, an Idol alum, will be featured during the auditions and join hopefuls in the waiting room with audition tips and more.
