MINNEAPOLIS - Minneapolis Fire Department investigators are looking into a weekend fire at an area school playground.
They say the call to Lake Harriet Lower Elementary School came in around noon Sunday. Investigators say the playground was up in flames when crews arrived. Equipment and rubber mulch was burning, they say. Crews were able to put the fire out quickly.
Investigators are considering arson as a cause. They also interviewed four kids in the area at the time of the blaze.
