MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A former Anchor Bank manager is accused of stealing more than $1 million from customers.
Federal prosecutors say Cynthia Van Dusartz, of Eagan, took the money from March 2014 to December 2015 by tapping into a line of credit at the West St. Paul bank.
Van Dusartz is also charged in Dakota County District Court with felony theft by swindle. She's accused of stealing $640,000 from a customer's account. The St. Paul Pioneer Press says Dakota County prosecutors expect to dismiss their charges now that a federal charge is in place.
Van Dusartz has been summoned to appear at a March 15 arraignment. Her attorney, Eric Nelson, did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
