USA TODAY SPORTS - Kevin Love may finally be getting out of Minnesota, but he'll have to wait a few more weeks. The Timberwolves star has made it clear he wants to be traded and has been at the center of rumors all summer long — which intensified tenfold when LeBron James announced his return to Cleveland.

Knowing that Love could walk away for free next summer, Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor told the Pioneer Press that a deal is likely to happen by the end of August, most likely the 23rd or 24th, and he wants to receive multiple assets in return.

Although Taylor did not indicate where Love would be going, August 23rd is conveniently the day that Cavaliers rookie Andrew Wiggins is able to be traded. Wiggins signed his rookie contract on July 24th, and is not able to be traded for 30 days after signing per league rules. That block is lifted on the 23rd of August.

The Cavaliers could send two No. 1 picks to Minnesota in Wiggins and Anthony Bennett, but the Timberwolves may still be hoping to pry away Klay Thompson from Golden State.
