GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — The METRO Green Line train will operate on a new time schedule, starting Monday, August 19.
The train had previously been on a 24-hour schedule, but will no longer run between 2:00 am and 4:00 am Sunday through Thursday. The trains will be replaced with Green Line buses, which will run the same time schedule and make the same stops as the train line.
Officials with METRO Transit say the schedule change allows for safer and more timely maintenance of the line, as well as more time to clean and maintain the trains.
