Minnesota Nurses Association asks for community to donate protective masks

“It’s not a time to hang onto these things in the event that we are fearful,” Nicole Hansen said. “There’s no sense in holding back. We must support our community.”

ST PAUL, Minn. — Whether you donate one mask or boxes full of them, you’re making a difference.

“It’s not a time to hang onto these things in the event that we are fearful,” Nicole Hansen said. “There’s no sense in holding back. We must support our community.”

At the Minnesota Nurses Association offices in St. Paul (345 Randolph Ave # 200, St Paul, MN 55102), they hope to take in as many new or unused N95 masks as possible.

They are accepting these mask donations on March 21 through 29 from noon to 2 p.m. to help medical professionals in their fight with the Coronavirus outbreak.

Hansen herself helped donate thousands of masks through her work at Securian Financial.

The masks will then be given to the State Emergency Operations Center for distribution to hospitals.
