ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. - There's not a day that goes by that Angela Pogorzelski doesn't think of her daughter who she lost on October 22, 2015 -- at 23 weeks – at Methodist Hospital.
Pogorzelski says she has had eight unexplained pregnancy losses. Luna was the one she carried the furthest.
"It's losing a part of you. It's your hopes, your dreams, you see other children who are born the same day or same due date and you say that could have been my child," Pogorzelski said.
Angela immediately reached out to a grief counselor and support groups where she discovered a way to honor her daughter while helping others.
She started a fundraiser for a special cooled cot called a "Cuddle Cot" that will now be available at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.
The "Cuddle Cot" allows more time for parents and families to grieve with stillborn children.
Now, every time a family uses a "Cuddle Cot," they'll also honor Luna Christine. That brings happiness to the Pogorzelski family as it keeps their daughter Luna's memory alive.
