Health Fair 11 at the Fair returns for its 23rd year!

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. — Soak up the home stretch of summer and set your kids up for a safe school year simultaneously with Health Fair 11 and Cub Pharmacy at the Minnesota State Fair.

The entities will partner throughout Labor Day weekend to offer fairgoers new COVID vaccines for free inside Health Fair 11 at the Fair in the Crossroads Building on the southwest corner of Dan Patch Avenue and Cooper Street inside the fairgrounds.

The news comes as Health Fair 11 at the Fair celebrates another successful year offering flu shots, blood pressure checks, blood screenings, vision screenings and other health-related testing and information to visitors for free or at low cost.

"Fairgoers come back year after year to get checked out by the experts at Health Fair 11 at the Fair,” said Craig Hotvedt, executive director of Health Fair 11. “Many say they get screened first and then move on to all the temptations the Fair has to offer.”

Cub pharmacists will be on hand to administer the daily supply of 300 shots for people 12 and older starting Saturday at 9 a.m. Supplies are limited to 20 doses per day for kids ages 5-11.

Those interested must present proof of insurance to receive their Moderna Spikevax vaccine at the fair, but Cub said it will also begin offering the poke at all of its pharmacy locations in Minnesota over the weekend.
