300 people will benefit from Health Fair 11's Summer blood drive.

More donors are needed to shore up Minnesota's blood supply. Get a karma boost when you donate!

MINNEAPOLIS — STORY UPDATE

Nearly 100 people showed up to donate at Health Fair 11's Summer Blood Drive  on July 9th. Staff with Memorial Blood Centers collected 98 units. Each unit can be used in the medical treatment of three people.

Blood is needed every day for the treatment of accident survivors, cancer patients, and women in childbirth. There is no artificial substitute. The only source for this blood is donors.
