GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Spike Carlsen is the author of six books on building and woodworking.
With eight grandkids, all girls, he was in a perfect position to write his most recent book, “Building Unique & Useful Kids’ Furniture.”
From a mirror that helps kids start the day with a positive self-image, to a cradle that’s out of this world, to a fun storage project you can build alongside the kid or kids in your life, Spike inspires viewers to pick up a few simple tools and build their own holiday gifts.
There will be a book launch for “Building Unique & Useful Kids’ Furniture” Dec. 4 at 6:30 at the Stillwater Public Library.
