GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Whether it's a great pickup hockey game, cutting a figure 8 or just carving a path around an oval, ice skating is a favorite Minnesota winter past-time.
KARE 11 has compiled a list of local outdoor ice rinks, including some with skate rentals, and put them all on an interactive map.
Some rinks may have open skate fees, so click the links for more information.
The map has been divided into two groups: one for rinks that provide skate rentals and one for rinks that don't.
This list is not comprehensive, but includes rinks suggested by KARE 11 social media fans. Let us know where you like to skate on our social media pages, and we will add it to the interactive map below.
We'd like to give an honorable mention to those with backyard and pond rinks.
