ST PAUL, Minn — St, Paul Mayor Melvin Carter, Police Chief Todd Axtell and Ramsey County Attorney John Choi met this afternoon in the wake of a KARE 11 investigation that exposed open air drug dealing downtown.
Late Friday, they released this joint statement:
“Eliminating justice system disparities while maintaining a safe, secure downtown is critical to all of our goals. We are moving forward, in concert, to address the real and perceived public safety concerns highlighted in yesterday’s Kare11 report.”
