DEER RIVER, Minn. - The Leech Lake Tribal Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating Franklyn Sherman Jr. of Deer River.
The 35-year-old man was last seen on foot in the Winnie Dam area of Deer River on July 23.
His family and police are concerned for his welfare.
He is described as Indigenous American, 6'1" tall, 185 pounds with brown eyes and black shoulder length hair. He has a mole on his left forearm. He also has scars on his arms and may be wearing glasses.
Franklyn also spends time at his mother's in Bemidji.
