Lexie Brown hasn't stopped smiling since joining the Lynx.
"Minnesota was one of the places I was hoping to get drafted to last season," Brown said. "I know the culture here is incredible. The facilities, the city, the fans: everything."
On draft night, the Lynx traded with the Connecticut Sun to acquire Brown.
As a rookie last season, the former Duke star spent much of the year on the Sun's bench. Now, she'll have a shot at seeing regular playing time.
"She can shoot it, and that has tremendous value on this team in particular," Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve said. "I think she's been one of our best players in the first couple of days."
The daughter fof former NBA player Dee Brown, Lexie was the ninth overall pick in the 2018 draft.
